One thing we are going to do right, is let the public know what we, and therefore you (you ARE going to tell us what to do), are up to.

For that we need someone that can offer their services as a press release writer.

If you can, or know someone, reply in thread or send a pm if privacy is a concern.

Tutorial Writers - August 12, 2008, 09:25:51 pm

We need documents! Geared for all levels!

Mike is working on a very beginner level HTML tutorial to teach people how to create and upload their first web page.

I want tutorials on all sorts of topics, but lets start with ones that will help people use CWahi, or any other service for that matter. CSS, PHP, SSI are three that immediately come to mind.

Guides for using tools (Chris is starting down that path) like nvu/Kompozer. Someone should look at Eudora, Outlook, Outlook Express and my now personal fave - Thunderbird.

The guides should be done up as simple web pages because screenshots should be included where possible to make steps clearer (like when you have to check options for server settings).

These tutorials will be available to everyone, anyone to see.

And of course, we will reward CWBucks/Pukas/Kukui/Small Fluffy Puppys - whatever we call them - to each person that submits and, if the case of duplicates turned in about the same time, the chosen one.

To that end - Jenn, can you please set up a forum for people to request and state what tutorials are being worked on.

Requests can start threads that someone can take ownership of. Bill needs a tutorial on cars, Ida replies he will write one!

You know, that sorta thing.
