Q: What will my URL (address) be?

A: Members of CWahi get subdomain URLS, so your URL will be http://username.cwahi.net - remember that you do NOT use WWW in your address.

Q: Account - Where is my web directory? It says "Not Found"?

Q: Where is my web directory? It says "not found" and I signed up hours ago!

A: Your web directory/url is created when you upload something the first time using the file manager, or FTP.

After you upload something, try it: http://yourusername.cwahi.net - naturally changing the "yourusername" to your user name ;)

Q: Account - The account name I want can't be created?

Q: The account name I want can't be created? It isn't taken already, I checked!

A: We have some filters in place that prevent the use of certain words or phrases in new membernames. Yours probably got caught in that filter.

IF your preferred membername is not something fitting into a banned category, we'll be happy to create it for you manually at our discretion. Please use the contact form to request the membername you can't create yourself. Please note that it may take a day or two during busy times, and be patient. Thanks!

Q: Account - What if I don't use my account for a long time?

A: Accounts that are not logged in to for at least 1 year will considered "Abandoned", wiped of data, and made inactive. The username will remain "recoverable" for an additional 6 months.

Q: Account deletion/removal/termination

Q: I don't have time for this website - I want to delete it. Where do I do that?

A: Sorry to see you go! You could leave the account as-is if you want to reserve your membername, or you can go ahead and delete it.

In the logged in area of your account, choose "My Account", and "Delete Account".

Please ensure all files and email you wish to keep have been downloaded prior to choosing this option, as all data associated with your account (except access log files) will be removed immediately.

Q: Account type change

Q: I'm not satisfied with my account type - can I change it?

A: Of course! In the logged in area of your account, look for "account functions", and "change my account type". Follow the instructions that follow.
