Q: Can I offer "past papers" for sale to other students? It's not illegal where I live.

A: It's probably not illegal most places, but you know what? It's completely immoral to purchase a paper or other work done by someone else, and surely considered fraud and plagiarism to turn it in as your own work. So no, we don't allow this to be done here at CWahi. Call it a "Moral stand" if you like. It's just not cool, and you can't do it here.

A: Under NO circumstances may you use CWahi as a backup facility, for any length of time. 

Q: TOS Proxies

Q: Proxies - are they allowed?

A: If you're using a proxy to connect TO us, fine. Using us as a proxy is not permitted (we don't allow outgoing connections). There is simply too much potential for abuse.

Q: TOS Common Password

Q: I use the same password for everything, is that ok?

A: Ohhh... bad, bad idea.

Think about it - if someone guesses or cracks your password for one thing, like your account here - they potentially have access to everything else you do online, including banking (and paypal), other accounts (ebay, gaming sites, etc.), your email, and anything else you're involved in.

Better to use something different for each login you have online, and keep a written record of them in your wallet or a notebook hidden near your workspace. It's also a good idea to use mixed case and a combination of letters and numbers in your password, and change it every so often. Never use your name or another person's (or pet's) name, or anything equally easy to guess.

A final word of advice on this; Everyone knows a guy who uses "password" or "qwerty" as their password. Don't be that guy.

Q: TOS I think I was hacked...

A: Use the reporting form off of the main site - we'll look at our logs and work with you to get your site back. You'll need to answer a few questions for security reasons, and you need to contact us from the email address you used when you signed up for the account. (another reason to keep your contact info current!)


Q: I was hacked and someone uploaded stuff that got my site suspended!

A: If it is determined that your site was indeed hacked (we can determine this using log files) then we may release your account back to you. Ask a moderator for help, or use the contact form from the main site.

Q: TOS Account is gone!

A: Sites that are obviously illegal download, phishing, porn/adult, and various other blatantly illegal or immoral setups can and will be terminated at our discretion. We do not allow illegal content on our servers. Note also that we may opt to share illegal content, user information, and access logs with authorities on a proactive basis, when it comes to child abuse (pedophilia), terrorism, or other extreme violations of the law and our TOS. Don't do it. You can lose a lot more than your site. Don't risk it.

Q: TOS I've been suspended!

Q: I've been suspended! Why? How do I get my account back?

A: Without exception, suspensions happen when you have uploaded content that violates our TOS, or behaved in an abusive or inappropriate manner with our staff or other members. You may request explanation and terms for release by using our reporting form on the main website. Warning: abuse of our staff, services, or other members will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate at our discretion.

Q: TOS Password for my child's account?

Q: I need the password for my child's account - how do I get it?

A: Unless you have access to your child's email address for password retrieval, we cannot release passwords to non-account holders for security reasons. If there is a security issue on the website (ie: the child has provided personal information like their address or phone number on the website, information that is damaging to themselves or someone else, or uploaded illegal content) we may suspend it at our discretion until the site owner can be contacted directly to remove the content.

A: Ask before uploading - the forum is the perfect place to ask things like this. Describe what you want to do or upload, but please don't link to it without being asked by a moderator in private.

Q: TOS I found something illegal on your servers!

Q: What do I do if I find something illegal or pornographic (or any other TOS violation) on a website?

A: Use the link on the website (on the slim text bar at the top) to report it, or one of the links on the main site for reporting abuse or violations. You may also mention that you've found something in the forum, but PLEASE don't post the URL in the forum. Wait for a moderator to contact you privately or send one a PM. Please also refrain from sharing with any other members, even if they ask you in the forum or a private message (PM).

Q: TOS Nudity: Naked babies

Q: You say no "nudity" - what about naked baby pictures?

A: Normally it would be ok, but if the pictures are too intimate (closeups of genitalia, for example) or could in ANY WAY be construed as pornographic or abusive to children, then they would not be allowed.

We'd like to think all baby pictures are innocent, and the vast majority surely are. But we've also been in this business a long time, and we've seen things that would make your skin crawl. Our only interest is in protecting children, so please work with us here.

Keep in mind that innocent pictures of your children may be viewed in a totally different light than you intend if found by internet predators (pedophiles).

Use your best judgment, and ask if you're not sure. Please don't post links to your pictures in the forum - ask your question and then wait for a moderator to ask you for the link in a PM.

Q: TOS Nudity, Pornography, Hentai, etc.

Q: Can I upload pictures with nudity?

A: Adult content is not allowed on our website, sorry.

Q: What if I hide my own porn (pornography) in a folder for just my own use?

A: Still would be on our servers, and is not allowed. Nothing is ever truly "hidden". Along with other policing methods, files that get a lot of attention also get OUR attention. We will find it, and you will lose your account.

A: No.

A: Don't argue, it's still no!

Q: TOS: Podcasts?

Q: Can I upload Podcasts to share?

A: If they were free and distributable, or if you created them yourself from non-copyrighted material, yes.

If you paid for them (ie: paid subscription), or created them using copyrighted songs or video (or TV episodes, etc.), no.

Q: TOS Songs and Videos, games, episodes, etc.

Q: Can I upload songs or videos from CD/DVD's or downloads that I've purchased (or gotten another way) to share with friends or play on my website?

A: No - under no circumstances can you upload copyrighted music.

By purchasing a CD/DVD or downloading a file from another source (like iTunes Store or other music/video download sites) you purchase a SINGLE personal-use license to the music, but not a license to share these files with anyone else. It is illegal, and illegal content is not allowed on our servers.


Q: Can I upload episodes of Naruto or Airbender (anything like this)?

A: No, they're copyrighted, meaning you didn't make them (you only copied them). Illegal, and not allowed.

Q: What about episodes of a TV show I love? What if it's really old?

A: No, and No. Doesn't matter, they're still copyrighted and illegal to distribute.
